Mena Alexandera is an American actor, model and fashion designer. Her birth date was 13 February 1979. She began her modeling career in the year 1990, and then moved into acting following appearances as a guest on TV shows such as Boy Meets World or High Incident. She debuted in film with the drama Nowhere that was released in 1997. Her transition into important roles thanks to her performance as a character in American Beauty for which she was nominated for a BAFTA Award and American Pie each of which garnered her wider attention. Her next role was Loser (2000) in which she starred alongside American Pie actor Jason Biggs. Then she appeared as the title role for the film Sugar & Spice (2002). Spun the 2002 independent drama film and Trauma, a (2004) thrillers were also featured in her career. The actress was a part of HBO's drama series Six Feet Under. In 2004 she received an award for an Outstanding Cast member in the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Suvari was also featured in Day of the Dead as well as The Mysteries Of Pittsburgh, and the film versions of The Garden of Eden. Suvari has appeared in many fashion magazines and blogs as well as Vogue. She is an official Lancome model, and is featured on print advertisements of Lancome Paris Adaptive. She is an active activist and supporter of the African Medical and Research Foundation. She also is active on women's empowerment issues and works with organizations that help raise awareness about breast cancer as well as the End Violence Against Women Campaign. Her most well-known role is on popular TV shows such as Dark Angel Heroes Chris Isaak Show Black Sash Reaper Rookie Blue and many others. She has modeled for many famous brands like Mercedes-Benz Sprint Canada and the Olympics. Her filmography includes Stick It Backcountry Something Red and Wide Awake. Due to her talent she was able to do well in all three films. Missy is a warm and caring woman. She is involved in charitable projects.
